New Holland Summer Fest , August 24th and 25th, 2007. It was 1/2 a BBQ contest and 1/2 a weight loss camp! The temps and humidity were unbearable , 5am on Saturday morning it was 74 degrees and 95% humidity! To bad Smokin' Gnome BBQ wasn't as hot, we did poorly in all the categories....except 1, I talk a stage walk and picked my self up a nice plaque and our 1st $check$ for a 4th place in Sausage!! 72 teams competed from all over and a strong showing was made by the BBQ BRETHEREN teams like Smoke in Da Eye , Bad Bones BBQ Crew, Pigs by the MOON and Smokin' Gnome BBQ. Thanks to all those who came out to see what I do.
